JOHN STOBART RECEIVED HONORARY DOCTORATE OF LETTERS
Mr. Stobart has been recognized by Derby University for his distinctive achievements in art as one of the preeminent maritime artists and in education for his efforts within the Stobart Foundation in the continued promotion of art education. The ceremonies were held at the Assembly Rooms at Derby University, Kedleston Road, Derby, England, on January 18 and on January 19, 2008.
